Guardsman of Ryu

Whether with Yari or the fabled Arquebus, the ashigaru stationed in Ryu are loyal to the Takashi and will defend their clan to the death. They are relentlessly trained and trained to ensure they act and react instinctively in battle, undaunted while awaiting orders from their gunso or samurai commanders. The arquebusiers consider it such an honor to be inducted into the regiment that they are said to take them with them on their final voyage to Hantaisoku.
