The Silkwing Archers are a species of forest spirit that has only recently appeared among the ranks of the sylvaneth, and they can fly thanks to the zephyr bugs that cling to their torsos. These archers fly to where they're needed on the battlefield with impressive speed and agility, swooping down and strafing the enemy before dodging counterattacks with insectoid deflections. A gruesome fate awaits those struck by the arrows fired by these symbiotic skirmishers - the arrowheads containing ravenous maggots that will eat the target from the inside.
This multi-part plastic kit makes five Silkwing Archers, a fast, medium-range skirmisher unit for Sylvaneth armies. Each Silkwing Archer has an individual pose and appearance, and one can be built as a Swiftwing Scion with a diadem and ornate tabard. This set contains five different Zephyr Beetle designs, each of which can be attached to any Silkwing Archer body, giving the archers in your army a wider range of appearances to choose from.
This kit is supplied in 42 plastic components, and is supplied with 5x Citadel 32mm Round bases. These miniatures are unpainted and require assembly. We recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.
