Goblins are cruel, callous, and uncouth, with a youthful sense of humor and an evil imagination dedicated to finding new ways to hurt others without getting hurt themselves. The fact that Goblin teams win even the odd match can be attributed to one factor: their extensive, overt use of "secret" weapons.
