Glutos Orscollion, Lord of Gluttony
Glutos Orscollion, Lord of Gluttony, is a monstrous champion and formidable sorcerer of the Slaanesh who has gorged himself on nations and leads a vile parade of gourmets and sycophants devoted to satisfying his endless hunger, riding a opulent palanquin. Glutos has gleaming pig eyes and an overly long tongue drooling over drool-covered chins. His body is terribly swollen, and protrudes with tentacles and other signs of the Dark Prince's blessings.
The Orscollions were once a clan of failing merchants from Hysh, and Glutos was forced into thievery, even infiltrating the Temple of the Cornucopia Rite in Xintil and stealing its sacred golden grain so he ate the grain. The rite was secretly dedicated to the Slaaneshi demon prince Loth'shar, and Glutos was suddenly struck with a terrible hunger that could only be satisfied by consuming something greater than the demon's treasure. Orscollion wasted every stolen coin on more and more fancy foods, but to no avail. He then discovered a corpse abandoned in the back streets of one of Xintil's cities, and guided by Loth'shar's mocking whispers, he fed on the corpse, weeping at its own rot. At that moment, the Shadow of Loth'shar appeared in front of him, assuring Glutos that his path was on and promising to satiate his hunger as long as he pursued more esoteric goodies.
Wizards were many in Hysh, and the more Mages enjoyed Glutos, the greater the favor Loth'shar bestowed on him, and with his stature grew his fame. Hedonites traveled from all realms to pay tribute to him and make various offerings for the opportunity to feast at his side. Cities were massacred, trade caravans raided, and even armies routed to sate Gluto's dark cravings until consumption became an end in itself, and even morbidly obese demon indulgers came to seek out Orscollion and its carnival to feed tortured souls.
With the reawakening of Slaanesh in the Mortal Realms, Glutos now leads a cadre of Hedonites composed of both mortal and demonic entities, and reignites his terrible legend.
This kit contains 101 plastic components with which to build Glutos Orscollion and his favorite minions on a magnificent palanquin. The model is supplied with a Citadel 170mm Oval base.
