Feared across all of Craggy-Bottom, the infamous Bacon Bandits once roamed from parish to parish, leaving a trail of chaos and hardship in their wake. That is, until Lord Maverick Tinyfist-Clump-Bagville mounted his trusty pig, Ms. Pennyclock, and rode out to confront them. The battle that followed felt like an epic struggle to all who witnessed it—though, in reality, it lasted only about a minute and a half. Nonetheless, the bandits, awestruck by Lord Maverick’s superior pig-riding skills, surrendered. They vowed to give up their dastardly ways and learn the art of pig-riding from the master himself. And so, on that day, the feared Craggy-Bottom Heavy Pig Rider Cavalry Battalion was born.

The Glory Hogs may not be the fastest knights on the tiltyard, but they’re here to prove that slow and steady not only wins the race—it wins jousts! Most pig riders come with a significant penalty to their Initiative Scores, but this is more than compensated for by their high Endurance and Defenses relative to their Renown. By working together as a cohesive unit, they can further enhance their jousting prowess, wearing down their opponents with relentless determination until victory is theirs.

In the jousting arena, the Glory Hogs embody the spirit of perseverance. Their sturdy builds and teamwork allow them to outlast and overpower faster foes, proving that sometimes, it’s the toughest who triumph in the end.
