Skragrott the Loonking
Skragrott's origins are unknown and anyone with such knowledge "disappears". So he came to dubious fame only during the invasion of Ayadah. According to him, the evil moon herself spoke to him while he slept, whose voice filled his mind and told him of his approach. When he awoke, Skragrott claims he was completely covered in squirming insects, which scattered to leave him coated in slime while a stiff Crown of fungus sprouted from his scalp, the roots of which dug deep into the flesh of his brain. A skull-headed wand rested on Skragrott's right hand, and on his left was a royal staff containing a living and incredibly rare Madmoon Boss Mushroom, proving that Skragrott had been blessed by the evil moon that made him his own among all grots prophets and rulers of the entire Moonclan.
Naturally, as the Gloomspite swept through Skragrott's lair, the grots looked to him as their leader, while the few who refused received a violent lesson. The Crown of the Loonking greatly enhanced Skragrott's cunning, granting him spell powers equal to the Moonclan's greatest shaman. Under his leadership, the Gloomspite Gitz defeated Orruks, humans, and duardin who had fought for Ayadah while the evil moon hung bloated over him. Skragrott led the seething Gloomspite horde that turned Ayadah into a twilight realm, and claimed the mountainous heap of junk of "Da Schlägahaufn" as his personal stronghold.
In order to accurately predict the movement of the evil moon, he created the fungus-ridden madhouse. While the Loonking's sanity has taken a few hits since the beginning of this radical plan, he's successfully predicted the coming of the evil moon four more times, each time leading the Gloomspite hordes to bring the Allmoder upon the land. With his victories, more and more Moonclan haunts and even Spiderfang tribes recognize him as their almighty king.
When the Stormvault's penumbral engines began to fail, Skragrott, by divine command of the Bad Moon, sent the Loontenant Snaggit into the fungus-infested madhouse to gather a Prophecy.
