When the Germans rushed across the border into Russia in 1942, they had a secret weapon code-named the Nebelwerfer, or "Nebelwerfer". This was a multi-barreled, electrically-launched rocket launcher that sent its payload of heavy rockets thousands of meters to engulf enemy positions...
