In developing the GOLD SERIES, we used only the best Parts of the Siberian Kolinsky to offer brushes with premium bristles at a reasonable price. Each brush is presented in a protective case to preserve its quality.
Our Kolinsky brushes are excellent for water-based acrylic Paints, especially for fine techniques such as washing, blending, layering and decomposing. In general, we recommend them for any technique that requires a more diluted medium. It is advisable to avoid single stroke or dry brushing techniques as these can damage the brush tip.
The Kolinsky hair in our brushes features high absorption of water and paint, as well as excellent elasticity, making these brushes precise Tools.
Natural brushes naturally require more care than synthetic hair brushes, as they can lose strength and break hairs over time. To ensure your Kolinsky brushes last longer, we recommend not allowing paint residue to dry in the bristles, keeping brushes in shape, and maintaining the tip with our Brush Repair Gel. After painting, brushes should be stored with the bristles facing up to prevent tip deformation.
We do not recommend using Kolinsky brushes for oil Paints, as the Cleaning products required after this type of paint can quickly affect the natural Kolinsky hair.
