Only the finest Parts of the Siberian Kolinsky were used in the development of the GOLD SERIES to produce Brushes with the highest quality bristles at a reasonable price. Each brush is presented in a protective case to preserve its quality.
These Brushes are particularly suitable for water-based acrylic Paints, especially for fine techniques such as washing, mixing, layering and decomposing. In general, we recommend them for any technique that requires a highly diluted medium. You should avoid single stroke or dry brushing techniques, however, as they can damage the tip.
The unique properties of Kolinsky hair allow for high absorption of water and paint, as well as excellent elasticity, making this brush an extremely precise tool.
Since natural Brushes require more care to maintain their strength and hair structure compared to synthetic hair Brushes, we recommend that you do not allow paint residue to dry in the bristles, keep the brushes in shape, and sharpen the tip with our Brush Repair Gel. After painting, you should store the brushes with the bristles facing up to avoid deformation of the tips.
We discourage you from using Kolinsky brushes for oil Paints, as the Cleaning products required after this type of paint can quickly affect the natural Kolinsky hair.
