Much like their Super Mutant kin, Floaters are the grotesque result of exposure to the Forced Evolutionary Virus (FEV). Whatever these Creatures were before their mutation is a mystery lost to time. Now, borne aloft by gas-filled sacs, Floaters have become cunning predators, fiercely loyal to Super Mutants and just as deadly.
As if floating, fanged monstrosities weren’t enough, most Floaters have developed elemental affinities, allowing them to unleash torrents of acid, flame, or even cryogenic bile with terrifying ease. These airborne abominations will add a new level of danger to any wasteland encounter—because nothing says ''welcome to Appalachia'' like a floating bag of teeth and toxins.
