Description

This plastic kit comes as 13 components, and is supplied with a Citadel 80mm Round base. Rules for this miniature are included in the box.

Driven into battle on a trio of articulated chain units, the Myphitic Blight-hauler is a light demon machine that brings heavy firepower to the Death Guard Traitor Legion wherever it's needed.

This strange machine, resembling a Foetid Bloat drone with its turbines detached, has heavy weaponry on its tank, typically a combination of Multi-Melta and Missile Launcher for mid-to-close range tank hunting.

At the front of the Daemon Engine's hull, a single eyeglass stares at the foe with ferocious hunger while a fang-filled maw gnashes and drools below. Should the enemy get too close, the Myphitic Blight-hauler will pounce like a ravenous wolf, biting and devouring them or spraying diseased bile on them from the rotted nozzle protruding between its fangs.

Well armored with rusting plates, the Myphitic Blight-hauler's bubbling flesh can absorb horrendous trauma. It has another defense mechanism in the form of the keratin-like extensions that protrude from its armored body. As it devours the filth and corpse matter lining the battlefield, the machine stirs up the accumulated rot in its fetid innards. Noxious gases and miasmal fumes build up in the Daemon Engine's gastric cauldrons until it spews them out in billowing clouds with a wet rasp.

The choking stench of these unnatural gases is enough to knock out nearby enemies or throw them into uncontrollable fits of vomiting. Meanwhile, the damp matter carried by the clouds hangs thick in the air, cloaking the Myphitic Blight-hauler and all nearby units in an opaque veil of dirt.

In this way, packs of Myphitic Blight tugs provide the Death Guard advance with rolling smog banks of vile cover, clogging the air with unspeakable rot from which the Plague Marines emerge, bolters blazing.

Most Death Guard commanders use packs of these daemon engines to fill the role that Havocs or Obliterators might fill in other Traitor Legions. The possessor beings that animate Myphitic Blight-haulers are as loyal to their masters as dogs, and quick to obey any direction given.
