Darkoath Warqueen Marakarr Blood Sky
Marakarr Blood-Sky is a Darkoath Warqueen who serves the Gods of Chaos and swears to bring carnage in their name. She is an empress of the barbarian clans and a warqueen of the Reaver Wastes, whose kin obeys her without question. In the time of trouble, she led thousands of her clan brothers and sisters into battle in the realm of Shyish. Marakarr is a member of Archaon's inner circle after proving her skills in the arena of Varanspire.
As the time of trouble gathered momentum, it reached the court of Tarvak the Flayer, demanding his service and that of his bloodbound followers, the Flayed Legion. Refusing to bend the knee, he quickly challenged her, leading to a brief duel in which she captured his head and the loyalty of his warriors.
She led her horde into Shyish through the realm gates of the Abyssal Fires and led the followers of all the dark gods of Chaos into battle. When her Bloodbound vanguard was attacked by many spirits, she roused her warriors to even greater anger, and another hour of battle saw the spirits scattered. Neither the dead nor the living they found in this realm would lead them to their goal, Nagashizzar.
The Horde were confronted by the Throttler Brayherd, whom Marakarr had recruited by killing their leader at the Battle of the Great Tombstone, and the Beastmen led them through the Hangman's Wood towards the Copper Pinnacle, topped by a newly created Warscryer Citadel. who watched the lands of Nagashizzar. They wandered the Ossian Dustsprawl before the Mortisan Chamber of the Anvil of the Heldenhammer struck during a great storm. Her strength repulsed her and continued on her journey.
The war between the Stormcast and the Followers of Chaos continued until the lightning bolt of Sigmar was called upon Marakarr and her Champions, causing them to fall into the hitherto hidden caves. However, Marakarr had survived and made the dangerous journey back to Archaon's court, offering her head in compensation for her failure. Archaon chose to spare her, and she became ruler of the Eightpoints' raiding hordes.
Marakarr would continue to take part in the Siege of the Eightpoints. Gain victory in the Battle of the Forest of Eyes and suffer a humiliating defeat in the Battle of Haradh's Torment.
Her armor includes a horned helm, signifying that she has defeated a powerful demon, and an Infernal Runeshield with sigils from all the Mortal Realms surrounding the Rune of the Realm of Chaos. Blessed with demonic power, this runeshield is inscribed with the runes of the barbarian tribes she conquered. Her pale skin is covered with dueling scars and her armor is battered and dented, while her ax is engraved with pledges of allegiance to the gods of chaos.
