French and Indian War
In this conflict, which was fought between 1754 and 1763, the French and British empires battled for supremacy in Canada and North America. The European armies had to overcome the harsh weather conditions and equally unsettling wilderness before they could fight battles and engagements in which only minimal territorial gains or losses could be recorded time and again.
