Dark Commune description

Those mortals most devoted to their dark masters eventually begin to siphon a little of the warp's power and become places of worship. These proselytizing champions form groups known as Dark Communes to lead their followers into battle, chanting cursed mantras and tearing flesh from bone with the power of their captive Mindwitch psykers.

The Dark Commune are the leaders of the Chaos Cults. These include a Cult Demagogue, a Mindwitch, and an Iconrach protected by Blessed Blades.

Content of the Dark Commune

This multi-part plastic kit allows you to build a complete Dark Congregation, consisting of five models - a Cult Demagogue, an Iconarch, a Psiwitch and two Blessed Blades. Clad in dark robes, members of this dark cabal wield talismans and demonic masks similar to those worn by their Chaos Cult followers - but each has a unique appearance befitting their role. The Cult demagogue wears a large horned mask and pauldrons and a staff draped with strips of parchment, while the iconarch, whose face is hidden under a hood, holds aloft the demonic icon cloaked in flames. Both display mutations in the form of tentacles, but the Psi-Witch is the most twisted form of them all - a bloated, cybernetically encased head atop the body of a hooded cultist. Wielding an ornate ritual sword, the faceless Blessed Blades stand ready to defend the Congregation.

This set comes as 13 plastic components, and is supplied with 3 Citadel 32mm Round Bases and 2 Citadel 28mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.
