Crackle Paint in one step
This is a fast-drying, water-based paint that cracks as it dries to create a pattern of cracks in just one step. Apply to the surface directly from the bottle. There is no need to apply multiple coats of paint.
For overly smooth surfaces, we recommend sanding them down a bit to increase roughness and improve crack adhesion. A matt primer is usually sufficient for crack adhesion.
Apply directly or with a brush. Depending on the thickness of the application, cracks of different sizes can occur. Don't use a heat gun to speed up the drying process, just let it dry naturally. Note that overly irregular or very small surfaces can affect the size of the cracks.
