Description
Much of the city-state's bureaucracy is selected through a rigorous public service screening, but the Aristarchus is an exception. Handpicked from the pool of aspirant Polemachoi by the ruling power of a city-state; be it a councilor, a tyrant or even a god, an Aristarchus embodies all the virtues of a city-state and is therefore chosen to lead his forces on campaign. Tested and trained to a level even higher than that of Polemarch, his studies focus instead on strategy, philosophy, politics and economics, enabling him to fill the role of general, ambassador or governors to further the power and glory of his city.
