Knight Castellan
The Knight Castellan is a Dominus-class Imperial Knight that excels at destroying its enemies at long range.
Essentially a mobile, towering fortress, a Knight Castellan is piloted by a single high-ranking Noble Lord and is armed with a vast array of fearsome long-range weapons. It is the foremost artillery platform within the lances of the Houses of Knights, pounding the enemy from extreme distances from the moment combat begins.
The Knight Castellan is one of the two most popular patterns of Dominus class chassis, the other being the Knight Valiant. With its dual plasma core sending energy through its massive frame, the Castellan can mount a terrifying array of weapon systems while maintaining its ion shield against incoming fire. In extreme situations, Dominus Pilots have even been known to overcharge their shield capacitors to temporarily project their shields onto nearby allies to protect them from damage. It is considered both crass and unnecessary to do this for another knight, but other Imperial forces fighting alongside Dominus Knights have good reason to thank the nobles for their protection.
The Knight Castellan is armed with a fabulously extensive collection of weapons. His main weapons are a Volcano Lance and a Plasma Decimator on each arm. Its tank is armed with two shield-breaker missiles or siege-breaker cannons and two twin melta cannons.
This multi-part plastic kit contains all the components necessary to build one Knight Castellan. This Knight variant is a giant, super-heavy walker that shares the base form of a standard Imperial Knight, but expands on that base structure with more armor and a range of weapon upgrades. This Knight variant focuses on devastating, long-range artillery attacks. Inside the box you will find 2 frames with components that make up the main part of the knight: the torso assembly, the shoulder sections and the legs (which are designed to be modeled on either side of the knight to allow for some poses) . with 2 sets of shieldbreaker missiles, 2 siegebreaker cannons and 2 twin melta cannons. A frame of upgrades is included - this includes a volcanic lance and plasma decimator that attach to the arms, a head and mask unique to this Knight variant, and special chest and groin armor. There is also a huge tank that has been extended to accommodate all weapons and an engine block that is twice the standard height, with 2 power cores and 4 exhausts.
This kit comes as 141 components, and is supplied with a Citadel 170x105mm Oval base. An Imperial Knights transfer sheet is included.
