Description

This multi-part plastic set contains 30 components with which to build a Necron Canoptek Spyder. This kit comes with two ball socket shafts and a large flying base. This kit is supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints.

Tomb Spyders and Canoptek Spyders are ancient robotic constructs used by the Necrons

Canotepk Spyders are used to monitor and maintain Necron Tomb Worlds. Unlike their Necron masters, Tomb Spyders never sleep, instead spending eons maintaining the structures of their tomb worlds. Though essentially just an automated drone, a Tomb Spyder is still a formidable foe, and is armed with flocks of scarabs in addition to its self-repairing backup systems. Tomb Spyders are also capable of turning Wraiths against anyone invading a Necron Tomb. However, the most feared aspect of Tomb Spyders is their ability to quickly repair other Necron Warriors on the battlefield.

Though far from sentient, these machines have complex and multi-layered subroutines that can adapt to most situations. When a trio of constructs act in concert, one takes command and harnesses the processing ability of the other two to create a gestalt supermind far greater than the sum of its parts. This hyper-efficiency is passed on to all nearby Canoptek Wraiths and Scarabs, allowing Spyders to conduct a coordinated and precise response to any threat.

Spyders are equipped with a variety of weapons such as: B. Fabricator Claw Arrays and Twin-Linked Particle Beamers. They also possess a Dark Prism and the ability to quickly create swarms of tiny, drone-like constructs within vast, shimmering clouds
