Inspired by the mobile commandos of the Boer War, the Special Air Service (SAS) was founded by Britain after the fall of France in 1940. Volunteers underwent rigorous training that covered weapon expertise, camouflage, navigation, air and amphibious assaults, demolitions, and a variety of other crucial skills for operating behind enemy lines. The commandos operated in various theaters during World War II.
This set includes enough Parts to build 30 SAS, SBS, or Royal Marine Commandos with a variety of headgear options. The Equipment includes Sten, Bren, and Tommy guns, Lee-Enfield rifles, sniper rifles, pistols, knives, an explosive charge, and radios.
