Britannia Battlefleet Set - Information
The Britannia-class battleship is a testament to the power of the Crown and a symbol of defending its territories. The mere rumor of their presence in local waters has quelled uprisings and deterred piracy. Brimming with weapons and protected by thick steel armor and Guardian generators, these mighty ships are the pride of the Royal Navy. The Britannia-class battleship was ahead of its time when the first ship was launched over three decades ago and has been in service ever since. While many of the latest battleships are catching up to Britannia in terms of engines, armor, and armament, she can still stand against any other battleship on the water.
Over the past century, the technical engineering prowess of the Crown has surpassed all other nations, and its naval dominance has given them control over the seas. That control has waned for some time now, and while their fleets are still numerous, the international dominance of the Crown is no longer certain. The fleets still have a presence across the world, and alongside the battleships, numerous cruisers and frigates can be found.
The most common cruiser in the fleet is the Albion cruiser. Equipped with heavy gun turrets, broadside guns, and torpedoes, this ship is the backbone of the Crown's fleet. Over the years, several modifications have been made to the Albion hull design, such as the impressive Lancelot Heavy Cruiser, the swift Picton, and the lightly armed Bedivere. With so much coastline to control and such a large fleet, the creation of the Sabre Class Command Cruiser allowed high-ranking naval officers to command fleets of more numerous, smaller ships. These command ships enable the Crown to extend its reach without the need for as many battleships.
The Britannia Battlefleet Set kit includes seven multi-part miniatures made of resin:
