This multi-part plastic kit contains 61 components with which to make either a Hemlock Wraithfighter or a Crimson Hunter. Add two boxes to your shopping cart to craft these two deadly variants.
This kit is supplied unpainted and requires assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Paints. The Hemlock Wraithfighter is a psychically enhanced fighter aircraft from Craftworld Aeldari. The Hemlock Wraithfighter is the subject of much controversy among the Craftworlds, for it is a weapon of greatest terror. Using such a device is teetering on the brink of atrocity.
Only the direst of circumstances could compel the Asuryani to use such a vile means, and those who do so have a blemish in their souls that is not easily erased. But the Autarchs know they have no choice - they must use any weapon they can to survive.
The Hemlock blends the psychic abilities of its Spiritseer pilot with the sinister gestalt energies of the dead Craftworld Aeldari. The co-pilots of these eldritch devices are not living beings at all, but soulstones containing the essences of the deceased Aeldari. Like the spirit warriors who escort Aeldari warhosts into battle are inhabited by the specters of the past, the Hemlock has a psychically reactive Wraithbone core that functions much like a miniature Infinity circuit, vibrating with the essence of the Otherworld.
The spirits within the Hemlock's fuselage can operate the plane's basic functions should the pilot fall unconscious, which is just as well given the constant mental strain of sharing a weapon pod with the Brotherhood of the Dead.
Any Spiritseer pilot risks being slowly driven insane by the whispering voices in his hemlock or, after conversing with his spectral co-pilots one too many times, that his spirit will forever bond with the spirits in the spaceship and leaves nothing but an empty shell.
The presence of the Hemlock Wraithfighter is a portent of sorrow, scratching the enemy's mind long before they hear the plane's engines or see its menacing form. The plane moves with frightening grace and speed, appearing to those on the ground as a flickering phantom darting through the ceiling that rises above the battlefield.
As the Spiritseer pilot maneuvers the ship, his spirit searches the disembodied mind of his ghostly co-pilot while his mortal senses scan the horizon for enemies. No creature is safe from the hemlock, man, demon, or monstrous beast.
