Seraphim Squad

The Seraphim are elite warriors of the Militant Order of the Adepta Sororitas who serve as the Sisters of Battle's main assault infantry. Among the devoted warriors of the Militant Orders are those battle-sisters whose faith burns so brightly that it seems as if the Emperor himself directs their actions.
Known as Seraphim, these angelic warriors are trained solely to use Jump Packs. More importantly, they are also taught the coordination, dexterity, and control to fire two Pistols at once. These warriors devote many arduous Terran years to perfecting these arts. Again and again Seraphim have struck like avenging angels, descending into the thickest of battles on fiery wings while their bolt Pistols spat death at the enemy.
Trained in the oldest fighting techniques of their order, Seraphim learn to wield their sidearms in brutal hand-to-hand combat while other warriors wield knives and swords. Seraphim deflect their enemies' blows with fluid grace before landing a fatal blow themselves, usually with a point-blank headshot from a bolt pistol.
Even among the highly skilled warriors of the Militant Orders, some Battlesisters prove exceptionally talented. These are organized into Seraphim Squads and the Seraphim Sister Superiors teach them the ancient fighting techniques that have been passed down through the millennia since the founding of the Daughters of the Emperor.
Wielding a mix of Pistols, mostly bolt pistols and handheld flamethrowers, the Seraphim act as the roving hit-and-run Sisterhood specialists, hunting down heretics from the air and punishing them at point-blank range.
For a Battlesister to join the ranks, she must demonstrate melee skill and be a skilled warrior. Being a Seraphim is a great honor, in that they are often hailed as heroes among heroes, the "saviors" of battle as they unleash the Emperor's wrath from heaven.
Seraphim Superior are highly respected warriors of the Order, and their advice is rightly heeded by the Canon in Councils of War.
